A native New Yorker and self-taught photographer, Robyn brings a uniquely compelling perspective to her day in the life, portrait and fine art photography.

Every capture is in real time, completely authentic and uncomposed.  In describing her process, Robyn says, " I want my photos to be an expression of the wonders unique to a family and/or their environment -- in other words, those extraordinary elements that are not readily visible and often overlooked.  Whether commissioned to photograph a family or an environment, I read the pulse and the related moving parts, and then the photographic story along with all its wonders begins to unfold."

Robyn lives with her husband, son and their french bulldog Henry, in a cozy home in the Hudson River Valley, a sanctuary to a brood of laying hens, beautiful gardens, and an array of wildlife. When she's not taking photos you can find her on long hikes through the woods, rockclimbing, enjoying a fierce game of scrabble by the fireside with her family, experimenting with a new recipe, or knitting while enjoying a good piece of dark chocolate and a cup of tea.
